I’ve been active my whole life, but I’ve never considered myself a “runner” even when I played sports.

I also went through my phase of thinking I would lose my strength gains if I did run (lol).

But since I’ve started to implement it into my life, I’ve noticed such a sense of freedom when it comes to my training / movement in general and it has really allowed me to appreciate and challenge my body & mind in different ways.

Running to me, is 50% physical, 50% mental. And that mental battle really tries to take over. So if you’re feeling that during your runs, don’t worry sis, me too! But we are ALWAYS stronger than we think, and our mind is generally the first thing to tell us that we’re not. It’s up to US to prove ourselves & our intrusive thoughts, wrong!
